Kajsa, the rare breed
What better way to start my first blog than to introduce a special breed of dog I had a chance to photograph. When I got the call from Kajsa's pawrents, I was intrigued. I don't know about you, but I have never heard of Norrbottenspets. I learned that the Norrbottenspets is officially a Swedish breed that was thought to be extinct, but survived as a farm and hunting dog in the Northern parts of Sweden and Finland. Kajsa's proud owners told me that she is one of mere 350 dogs living in North America.
I'm honored to showcase the beauty of this rare breed! Kajsa was certainly aware of how special she is and looked stunning posing in a park in Evergreen.
Meet Kajsa, the hunter, the bird watcher, the rare Norrbottenspets.
